This policy explains what data Selene collects and how we use it.

1. Who we are
Selene (selene.aktc.app) is operated as an astrology entertainment and astronomy platform. For payment data, Paddle is the Merchant of Record.
2. Data we collect
Account email (via Supabase Auth magic link), subscription and billing status mirrored from Paddle webhooks, compatibility report cache keyed by hashed inputs (not raw birth data stored long-term beyond report generation), API key hashes and usage counters, and optional analytics if enabled (e.g. Google Analytics).
3. Birth and chart data
Birth dates, times, and places you enter are used to compute charts and reports. Cached AI reports store generated text linked to a hash of inputs. Free chart drawing runs largely in your browser.
4. How we use data
To provide the service, enforce plan limits, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with law. We do not sell personal data.
5. Processors
We use Supabase (hosting/database/auth in EU Frankfurt), Paddle (payments), Google Gemini (AI generation when you request a report), and hosting providers for selene.aktc.app.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies for authentication sessions, locale preferences, PWA settings, and optional analytics. You can control browser cookies in your device settings.
7. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. Billing events are retained for audit. You may request deletion of your account subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Your rights
Depending on your region (including GDPR), you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your personal data. Contact us using the details on this site.
9. Children
Selene is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
